Smoke Open

This the beginning of the building of my smoker. The tank is from a 20 gallon air compressor that stopped working.
It was cheaper to purchase a new air compressor than to replace the pump and motor.

As you can see I cut out an opening to make the door. I welded on some legs to make it easier to work on and have it stand upright.

It couold be used as either a small BBQ or attached to a larger BBQ to be used as a smoker. As I small BBQ it was lousy. I planned to just junk it, but forunately hung on to it to use in my project here. I had to make a plate to match the opening on the side.

The second picture is just a front view of the firebox/BBQ.
